Our Mission

That’s Lit Co. exists to connect Black and minority youth with books that reflect who they are, by providing literature written by Black and minority authors.

What We Do

  • Book Giveaways: Pop-ups and community events to give out free, curated books

  • Mini Libraries: Start-up collections placed in rec centers, residential spaces, and academic focus venues

  • Family Literacy Nights: Events that bring families together around books and storytelling

Values + Services

  • We prioritize Black and minority voices because every child deserves to see themselves in a story.

  • We believe books should be within reach, regardless of zip code or budget.

  • We nurture creativity and curiosity in young readers by celebrating stories that reflect their dreams and their realities.

  • Book bundles curated by age, interest, and cultural relevance
